Home Visitation
Homebound Visitation – Hospital – Nursing Home – Assisted Living: Upon request, we are happy to make a visitation and bring Holy Communion. St. John Vianney Parish has volunteers who rotate visiting the sick in the hospitals weekly. We also have a few parishioners who visit the homebound monthly. We have a group of volunteers who rotate taking communion on Sundays to Shattuck and McBrite as well as assist with Mass on the First Friday at Shattuck at 10:45 a.m. and the Fourth Friday at McBrite at 10:45 a.m. We have another group who do a Word Service with Communion at Saginaw Geriatric on Thursdays. Sister Janet visits the homebound monthly and tries to make the hospital visits as well. Sr. Janet is willing to come visit upon request. When you enter a hospital, make sure you tell them you are a member of St. John Vianney Parish so that they call us, or have a family member call the parish to let us know you are in the hospital and would like communion.
